FUSION Halifax has mobilized driven young people to create positive change in our city and we are setting our sights on building stronger ties with the community at large. VolunteerHere.ca is a resource linking local organizations with young people in Halifax, including nearly 2,000 FUSION members excited to help shape our community for the better.
VolunteerHere.ca involves the partnership of not-for-profit organizations, government agencies, private and public businesses and FUSION, and will work to simplify and enhance the volunteerism experience. We have listened to our partners in the community and want to help make volunteerism easy and accessible for both the volunteer and the organization in need.
FUSION Halifax intends to promote meaningful volunteer opportunities for the FUSION membership and increase access to volunteers for organizations throughout the Halifax Regional Municipality. By providing an easily accessible home for all volunteer opportunities, searchable by experience needed, time commitment, area of focus, and more, we will simplify volunteerism and foster strong community connections among the next generation of leaders.
