Saturday, October 1 is the night and we're celebrating with a nod to the past, mingling, tasty delights and a chance to shine a light on our award winners.
The GO Awards -- FUSION Halifax's signature event, celebrates 9 inspirational individuals and groups for making change happen in our city. It's truly a celebration of Halifax's finest and an opportunity to toast our community.

We'll have you whistling, singing and maybe even dancing with the band
Swingology -- Classic Gypsy Swing from Nova Scotia. They'll share music and great melodies from an era when jazz was the popular entertainment!
To tantalize your taste buds (and give you lots of energy for dancing) you will experience an array of delicacies from Blue Cheese & Caramelized Walnut Crostini to Lobster with Pineapple & Curry Mayonnaise, Nova Scotia Cheeses & Fruit to Bacon-wrapped Scallops with Cranberry & Orange.
A Savoury Spoon Wall. This is truly a taste experience in itself.
And for some, nothing says Halifax like donairs. Yep, we will even have a mini-donair experience.
Guests will also enjoy an all Nova Scotia bar with products from the Nova Scotia Winery Association and members of Taste of Nova Scotia.
Top if off with fun, local desserts that guests clamoured over last year. Think Lemon Lollipops and Snap Sandwich Cookies.
And of course we’ll have the popular – and fun - GO Icebreaker and Shout Out Wall.
At the heart of the evening we're going to recognize our nominees and winners for
inspiring change in our city.
This is no ordinary awards ceremony! A lively host, a spotlight, a nod to our Top 3
nominees in each category and then our winners are announced. Winners receive a
beautiful custom-made crystal award designed and crafted by NovaScotian Crystal and
are treated to lots of cheering and hand clapping from our wonderful guests.
We'll cap the gala evening off with a dance party at Windows overlooking beautiful
Argyle St. in the heart of downtown.
