Winner: Francis Fares

With the Kings Wharf development in Dartmouth, Francis has shown true leadership and vision in urban development, undertaking the largest single urban development this city has ever seen. Kings Wharf will add 3,000 new residents to downtown Dartmouth, new retail, office, hotel and public space right on the Halifax Harbour.

Joe Metlege

• Joe is leading the redevelopment of Fenwick Tower and earned unanimous approval from HRM Council for the project.
• Joe employed extensive community consultation in developing the plans, calling in neighbours and local stakeholders to take part in a series of evening sessions where the collective came up with the ideas for the redevelopment of the site.

Allison Moz

• As the lead designer at eyecandy SIGNS INC., Allison seeks to communicate in an instant Halifax’s vitality, culture and attractiveness.
• Allison is on the Board of Directors of the North End Business Association and the Hydrostone District Business Association.
