Winner: Rose Zack

As the ViewFinders Coordinator with the Atlantic Film Festival and volunteer Chair of the highly successful Nocturne: Art at Night festival, Rose lives and breathes art and culture. Rose seeks out ways to bring art to the people – from seniors in nursing homes to young people and local entrepreneurs – creating innovative experiences that build an even greater arts and culture scene in Halifax and beyond.

Adriana Afford

• Owner of Argyle Fine Art, Adriana has turned her gallery into a creative space where people can immerse themselves in visual arts of all forms.
• Adriana was instrumental in launching the Art Bus Tour, taking artists to the Five Islands Retreat where they are inspired to create works that would not have otherwise been possible.

Anthony Black

• As co-director of the 2b theatre company, Anthony is both a catalyst and a leader within the theatre community, creating internationally acclaimed theatre from his home city of Halifax and establishing 2b as one of the pre-eminent professional theatre companies in eastern Canada.
• Anthony inspires the next generation of talent by mentoring emerging artists through teaching at Dalhousie University and hosting artists in residence.
