Winner: David Finlayson

David’s volunteer portfolio includes teaching financial literacy to young adults through Junior Achievement, refereeing and coaching soccer for both boys and girls at almost every age level for organizations such as the Halifax Grammar School, Dartmouth United, the Nova Scotia Provincial Program, and University of Kings College. David organized the highly successful Fusion Halifax ‘Meet your MP Candidates’ event.

Monica Njoku

• The GO Awards are FUSION Halifax's signature event and Monica has been a driving force behind the development, implementation, and success. She has acted as co-chair in 2009-2010 and is and is the current chair of the awards gala.
• Monica is heavily involved in youth leadership in Halifax and Nova Scotia for the last 10 years.

Kaitlin Pianosi

• Kaitlin has been very involved with both FUSION Halifax based Sustainability and Urban Development Action teams. She has represented the Sustainability team working on It's More Than Buses for the past 6 months.
• She has also been instrumental in the planning of VivaCity this year as well as last year. She is also involved with the urban planning team and was instrumental in 2010’s Green Light project.
