Each workshop will be about three hours long and will be conducted in a friendly, interesting and interactive manner. Individuals who are thinking about running for municipal council, want to work on an election campaign, are thinking about becoming more involved in their municipality or just want to learn more about municipal government will find these workshop valuable. We view these workshops as providing a unique opportunity to promote greater civic involvement

Workshop leaders will be drawn from Dalhousie University’s College of Continuing Education, the Province of Nova Scotia as well as current and retired municipal councillors. There is no charge for the workshops.
