The Immigration & Diversity Action Team (ImDiv AT) is planning a Diversity Photo Contest - "Express Yourself. Do It, Do." - to showcase stories of diversity in Halifax, as well as two free Photography Information Sessions - "Let's Talk Photography" - to help inspire these stories. We know that Halifax is a diverse and vibrant city and we want you to show us why you think so too!
Show us what diversity in Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) looks like through your eyes! Tell us a story! Inspire us! Educate us!
Our workshops will not only offer you some great photography tips and techniques to spark your creativity, you'll also hear from local professional photographers working in their respective fields. And if that's not enough, you're sure to walk away with a plan for your next great image! We encourage you to bring along your (digital and/or phone) cameras.
