HALIFAX, NS, May 24, 2011 — Now into its fourth year of operations FUSION Halifax is maturing as an organization and has appointed an advisory team to provide a new perspective on current and future plans and strategies.
The FUSION Halifax Community Leadership Advisory Team will provide the Board of Directors and volunteer leaders with informed feedback, recommendations, and advice regarding activities, issues and initiatives undertaken by the organization.
Made up of business and community leaders, the advisory team will be a sounding board to provide leadership, advice and feedback to the board.
“FUSION Halifax Board Directors were asked to put forward names of people who would have valuable insight and experience to share with our organization,” explains Jennifer Berry, Chair FUSION Halifax. “Leaders from across our community, with various experience and expertise have accepted our invitation. We are extremely pleased to welcome every one of our advisors.”
This team of leaders believes in the mission and vision of FUSION Halifax and will
support the organization informally as well as in 2 formal meetings per year.
