* What do you love about the East Coast? What’s the best thing about living in Halifax?
I love that I can wake up before sunrise on a Saturday morning, hop on my bike and within 15 minutes be able to smell the ocean and ride along the coast. This is the most refreshing place to live.
* If the sky was the limit, what would you change about Halifax?
Absolutely, without a doubt, more bike lanes and active transportation infrastructure. I’d like to see us do more to promote sustainable modes of transportation and infrastructure that encourages residents to explore the delights of the wonderful city we have.

Java Blend – best coffee in Halifax.
* What would you tell a new young person moving to Halifax?
Always carry an umbrella. And, make sure that you meet new people. There is always someone willing to take the time, pass on advice or feed you. It’s one of the easiest, most natural places to build a network.
* If someone were to ask you, “Who should I know in Halifax?” Who would you recommend they meet?
Their neighbour. And if they already know them, then their neighbour’s neighbour…
