Describe yourself in one word: Passionate

What is the burning issue, your passion? What keeps you up at night?

I think that politicians should be less political and more altruistic and honest.  I think people should be talking about healthcare reform and what that means to our economy and the future of our population.  I think good teachers should be better compensated for their work – it is invaluable!  I want true communities in HRM - rinks, gyms, parks, grocery stores, churches and community coffee shops that we can walk to and meet our neighbors.  This will only happen through smart urban design.  Haligonians should embrace change in the form of taller buildings and heritage protected buildings living side by side in perfect harmony and an architectural gem of a library that attracts visitors from all over Canada.  Safe streets.  Everyone do more yoga.  And finally, don’t forget to breathe!
