What is the burning issue, your passion? What keeps you up at night?People who focus on why something can’t be done rather than getting it done. Halifax has so much potential and some positive leadership can realize that potential and make this a better and more vibrant city.
Why do you live in Halifax now?I love the energy that comes from the people, the ocean and Nova Scotia’s history. Luckily, I was also able to find a challenging and successful career here.
What do you love about living in Halifax/being an East Coaster?Being able to walk around the city, bump into friends and say hello to strangers who smile and say hello back.
What is your most memorable Halifax experience?Walking down the waterfront during the tall ships. The ships were spectacular reminders of Halifax’s maritime past and the energy emanating from having people from all over the world gave us a taste of Halifax’s potential future.
Why is it great to be young in Halifax?There are many opportunities to explore and act on your passions from having a night on out to supporting a cause to enriching yourself.
What would you change about Halifax?Create an attitude that we can be the best and draw the best in talent and innovation to this city.
