Why do you live in Halifax now?
Perfect size (big enough to have all of the amenities, small enough to still be human), located on the ocean, close to family, and with good work opportunities and a vibrant cultural scene.
What do you love about living in Halifax/being an East Coaster?
There is always something to do or somewhere to be.
What is your most memorable Halifax experience?
The Alexander Keith’s birthday party at the Citadel. Only in a city like Halifax would a brewery founder’s birthday be celebrated as almost a de facto holiday. Only in Halifax would you get quite that mix of vibrant cutting edge music being played in such a historic venue. A quintessential Halifax moment.
Why is it great to be young in Halifax?
It is a friendly down to earth city with great night life, culture and food, where it is easy to enjoy yourself, meet interesting people, and celebrate life.
What would you change about Halifax?
Better job opportunities so more good people can stay! Too often interesting folks have to leave to go elsewhere to further their careers.
What is your favorite restaurant/pub?
The Old Triangle. Good down home food, good, staff great atmosphere, good music, always run into people you know.

Just Us! On Barrington or Spring Garden.
