FUSION Halifax is committed to helping our city grow in a positive and intelligent way. We believe that HRMbyDesign provides a clear vision and a well laid out plan for the future of our city.
HRMbyDesign was developed using an extensive public consultation process. It addresses issues that directly affect our generation including building whole and sustainable communities, creating pedestrian friendly streets and increasing green spaces and public art. The plan will help make our streetscapes beautiful by introducing quality design guidelines and establishing tax and grant incentives to encourage developers to restore heritage buildings. HRMbyDesign will increase investment in the heart of our city and will attract world class companies who will provide jobs and help build a city that will grow with us.
Approving HRMbyDesign will be the first step in leading our city in the right direction; toward a beautiful, vibrant, world class, sustainable, exciting and inspiring place to live.
We need your support now. From now until May 5th, FUSION Halifax will be distributing buttons, postcards and posters and planning events in support of this initiative.
