We care about what you care about. We all share this city and need to build it to be a better place to live, work and play for all of us. So that means that if a couple of us start talking about something, then a few dozen of us start talking about it, and a couple of hundred people are talking about it later, we’ll have somebody listening.
FUSION Halifax provides the vehicle for committed and passionate people, focused on issues of importance to them, to communicate with the entire FUSION membership about important developments and opportunities related to those issues. How many times have we heard about a public forum or roundtable that we would really like to participate in … after it has already happened? Our action teams make sure that we all have the opportunity to get out and speak up on the things we care about.
FUSION Halifax is a partner to our elected officials at all levels of government. FUSION continues to strengthen our relationships with the governments of HRM and the Province of Nova Scotia. FUSION is the 'front door', through which they can access and engage a large number of young professionals in Greater Halifax. In turn, FUSION Halifax, through the work of our action teams, is the platform from which we can truly have an impact on public policy. We will ensure that the voice of the next generation in Greater Halifax is heard and taken into consideration in the decisions that will shape the future of this city.
